There is danger all around us. And there are double standards as well. I've got a post up on
BlogHer today about keeping my kids safe from predators when I could be putting my own self at risk. Where is that line between what is okay for me to do and what is NOT okay for them? Read my post
here.
I TOTALLY understand, and agree. We will never regret being on top of these things.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jolie. I've always trusted that little voice and I hope my kids can develop it soon. And learn to trust it as well.
ReplyDeleteGreat blog post, Teri. And yes, we do have that little voice, but when I think back to how long it took me to hear it (and how many instances could have been bad for me even in college), I worry even more over my girls. It's just a different world out there for them. The internet is a scary place and makes us all that much more vulnerable. Until they hear it - Mama Bear is watching!
ReplyDelete100000% true Mags!! Mam Bear's claws are sharp and swift too!
DeleteBravo!! This was a great one and makes tons and tons of sense!
ReplyDeleteGreat article! I have learned to pay close attention to that little voice...
