The Days of Wine and...Feet

Hey Snarklings! Looks like I found a tiny part of my brain that works on techie stuff! Who knew? I've been able to edit the first 5 minute segment of the Mike Rowe interview and am happy to post it for you here! Pay attention to Mike's reaction to my foot. I'm thinking it's the stuff that nightmares are made of.

I want to thank 16 for her outstanding work as my camera crew. She rocks.

And I want to thank Mike for not running out of the room screaming and calling security on me.

Stay tuned, there's plenty more where that came from. And please pardon my lack of interviewing skills. I don't really think I did all that bad for my very first time. I was afraid I was gonna go all Cindy Brady when the cameras came on.

    1. I'm going with "Multi-part" on this one, Jen. All depends on how successful I am at part 2.

  5. His details about GRAPES, wow. He's right on, but I didn't think anyone gave it that much thought. I always BUY purple grapes, for this reason. Who knew he was so grape sensitive? :)

    1. Joy, I buy the red ones more often ONLY because I've not had much luck with the green. I'd say 98% of the time when I buy the green they are so super sour I wanna hurl, and they're too expensive to waste. But you're right, he did seem to give it a lot of thought.

  6. OMG, I'm dying over here. Dying! You're both fantastic! I love the banter. I love his reaction to you "not being a journalist." I love your responses "And my mom--so 118." I love your questions and his very detailed answers. The whole exchange is hilarious and such a great interview. I can't wait to hear more. Oh, AND I HAVE FLAT FEET TOO!

    1. Thanks Carrie!! And the Sir Mix-a-Lot comment came back to bite me when his cameraman Antwan mocked my phone and said it was the same phone that was used in the Baby Got Back video!! He was hilarious!!

    2. Nina, he had PLENTY that I'd like to say, but I didn't want to blow it on my first interview. Wait, that didn't come out right. Plus my daughter was filming. I didn't want her to be in therapy for the next few years after all the dirty comments I WANTED to make. :D

  14. i do not know how you held it together - my first question would have been - will you marry me --- then I would have discussed Old Bay vs JO Spice!! and then launched into the Apartment Locator Show-- GREAT JOB!

  15. I'm just getting to these and the wait was worth it! OMG I can't believe you held your feet up together. Just like you were dancing barefoot together...while seated, behind a sh*t load of chairs. You are both awesome.

  16. Yes it was a very intimate and romantic moment with the chairs and the bunions.
